The demolition was more than the removal of bricks and mortar; it was the first tangible step toward a vision years in the making. Architects, developer, and contractors gathered to witness the moment – a symbolic turning point from history into the future.
As SEEDoE director Arthur Aw shared on site, “It’s not just ‘out with the old, in with the new.’ It’s about honouring what once stood here, then creating something that will stand the test of time for generations to come. Cedaroe Mansion will not only be a beautiful home close to nature, but also the heart of a close-knit community – where neighbours know each other, friendships flourish, and shared spaces bring people together.”
With the site now cleared, construction begins on Cedaroe Mansion – where design excellence, craftsmanship, and comfort will rise in one of London’s most distinctive neighbourhoods, set within one of Europe’s largest single-site estate regeneration projects.
