Steel reinforcement bars were then placed within the formwork to provide the necessary structural strength.

Before the first concrete was poured on 11 September, Hackney Building Control and representatives from Structural Warrantee provider Buildzone carried out a detailed inspection to verify compliance and quality standards.

SEEDoE Director Arthur Aw noted, “With a solid foundation now in place, we eagerly await the moment this new building begins to rise from the ground.”
