By early November, the pouring of concrete for the floor slabs, walls and columns, together with the structural steelwork for both levels, had been completed.
Work has also begun on one of the building’s defining architectural features – the sweeping curves of its large balconies. These will soon give form to the Art Deco-inspired façade that sets Cedaroe Mansion apart within the Woodberry Down neighbourhood.
During a recent visit to the site, Bolam Lee, Partner at Serie Architects London, walked SEEDoE Director Arthur Aw through the progress, joined by Stuart St John, Director of Construction at Guildprime; Hasan Baloshi, Managing Director of HEB; Daniel Shine, Project Manager at Guildprime; and Christian Halberg of SEEDoE.
Reflecting on the visit, Arthur Aw shared, “It’s exciting to see the building coming together, and especially thrilling to watch the large balconies take shape. I have no doubt that Cedaroe Mansion will become an iconic part of Woodberry Down and a place residents will be proud to call home.”
