The BCI Asia Awards, one of the most sought-after awards for the Asian building and design industry, recognises the outstanding achievements of Asia’s top building professionals, shining a spotlight on the visionary developers and architects behind groundbreaking projects, especially in areas of impact on the environment, business continuity and resilience.

The Top Ten Developers in Singapore were identified as firms with the greatest aggregate value of projects under construction by the extent of their sustainability and confirmed Green building ratings, with higher marks given for being Green Mark certified or higher (eg, Green Mark gold / gold plus / platinum).

Kimen was recognised for its unique concept for Jervois Mansion that incorporates super low energy sustainability features at this year’s BCI Asia Awards. Jervois Mansion is one of the first private residential developments to receive the BCA Green Mark Gold Plus Super Low Energy (SLE) award.

Other winners of the Top Ten Developers award were: Bukit Sembawang Estates Limited, City Developments Limited, Guocoland, IOI Properties Singapore, Kajima Development Pte Ltd & Commonwealth Capital Pte Ltd, Qingjian Realty (South Pacific) Group Pte Ltd, Solitaire Cecil Pte Ltd, United Engineers Limited and UOL Group Limited.

After receiving the award, Kimen executive director Arthur Aw said, “First of all, I want to give all glory to God for this wonderful blessing and thanks to all our collaborators for the team effort in developing Jervois Mansion. We were pleasantly surprised to be given this award as we were judged alongside many of the local big boys here. Our next step would be to realise the vision we set out to do and deliver. We are striving to incorporate more sustainability features into all our future projects, including one that we are planning to launch in London soon. Through incorporating sustainable features among other qualities in our projects, we seek to define a new form of luxury living. And by realising this, we aim to deliver just exceptional value to our customers.”
